About Us
RoseCon is the brain child of Chris and Kat Rose.
First created in 2025, our aim is to promote mental health support in the creative community by providing a safe space for these people to come together and share our interests.
Our first convention in June ‘25 was small and intimate but gave us an amazing foundation to build on.
For RoseCon ‘26 we have put together an incredible team of talented people from diverse walks of life to help us grow and reach more people.

Chris Rose

Chris Rose here, I'm a hobbyist, miniature painter and gamer of 20+ years enjoying several different systems and honing my skills as a realism painter.
Having dealt with mental health issues most of my life and becoming physically disabled in 2021, my life changed drastically. Being unable to work and losing the ability to do a lot of the activities I used to enjoy, I leaned heavily into my miniature painting passion. In 2023 I made the decision to start streaming and creating a safe space for people like myself and that journey lead me to meeting Kat and some amazing people, together we have put together the foundations of a convention designed to bring people together in a safe environment where we can share our passions and be a support network for each other.

Hi I'm Kat Rose. Co-founder of RoseCon.
A collector of hobbies and shiny things including mini painting, leather work and chainmaille to mention a few. My hobbies provide a source of escapism and relief from my own mental and physical health struggles. They've also brought me into this amazing community where I met Chris and things have just grown from there. It's an incredibly supportive and inclusive community for all creatives.

I am a commission painter and have been into Warhammer since 16. I didn't paint my minis for a long time due to fearing how they would looked so played with a grey army. After getting to drawing I found the confidence to paint and now I aim to share what I have learnt and help others get past their fears and judgment

I have been into Warhammer hobbying for 25 years and from the Chicago area. My fav edition was 7th when I was able to play lots of games. I recently painted up a Titan which allowed me to learn new tricks. I love Cherry Pepsi and fun/chill style gaming

The names Tim I'm a miniature painter and gamer since 1989 where I delved into the hobby starting with Space Marines as many a young kids do having played through several variations of Warhammer games I later found my true love in Warhammer Fantasy with my Chaos army, as for these days I have found myself enjoying skirmish games like MCP, Shatterpoint, Battletech, ect.
Hi my name is Kelly, I have been model painting and building for about 3 years was always interested but never had the confidence to try, just stuck with drawing as that is my passion, I bought the Blood Bowl starter set and haven’t looked back, i love Age of Sigmar sets I threw myself into the deep end and love every minute even with my ever growing pile of shame
