Join in with a friendly painting competition during RoseCon

"We want to show the world that our differences make us more interesting, and should be talked about instead of getting hidden away or masked! To illustrate this, for the competition at Rosecon 2026 we ask you to paint, build/create a model or small diorama to showcase this.

Your entry must:

-be a recent model (prove it by pic of grey kit next to competition announcement website or discord post please)

-add something unusual to the paintjob/model/base Something out of the ordinary, different, unexpected or controversial that will make us think/talk about it.

-all model sizes and manufacturers accepted

Entries to be submitted by noon, Rosecon 2026, to be judged by Galloway, Chris Rose and Black Dog Painting.

There will also be a competition on the day of Rosecon, for which One Page Rules (https://onepagerules.com/) have kindly allowed us to use one of their models. These will be 3D printed in advance, and supplied for free at Rosecon (ask one of the organisers for yours!) to anyone who would like to show off their speed(y) painting skills.

Some paints and brushes, water, palettes and paper will be available on the day, but if you have your own preferred products or brushes you want to use, please make sure to bring them!

AOS Spearhead tournament - Run by Matt and tim

This is for the RoseCon tournament of Age of Sigmar spearhead. The rules are the current spearhead rules and any current spearhead army is eligible

General gaming

There will be space for open gaming, please book on arrival. All models/terrain/games/mats/boards will need to be provided by individuals. It's up to individuals to find opponents.

Kelly will be running Cards against Humanity and some other community card games + tcg games

Hobby Health Chill Out Zone

The Miniatures Apothecaries will be hosting a chill out area, come and eat their biscuits!

You can have a general chit chat or relax from all the goings on with some friendly faces. If you need help and advice about mental health, where to get help or information regarding different mental health conditions, this is also available.
